Commissioned by Speirs+Major to photograph the distillery and surrounding area prior to the construction of a new facility by RSH+P, these images are based on the core materials and ingredients used in the whiskey distillation process – water/barley/copper/wood & of course time. As well as photography a set of short videos was produced to illustrate the distillery & its location. The theme throughout is ‘qualities of light’ and how these might be used to influence to the lighting design for the new building.
