Old Paint Factory

These images document the results of a conversion, by Robin Lee Architecture, of a former factory building in Wandsworth into a series of apartments.  Where original elements are left exposed, even raw in places, they speak of what remains of the original rather than leaping out as a feature of urban chic.  Colours are muted and subtle, the palette is carefully limited to a few quality materials and architectural elements provide function rather than feature.  The overall effect is one of calm which provides a welcome contrast to the city outside.
