Handel House
Following a recent refurbishment Handel House contacted me to provide some new promotional photographs showing the improved interior spaces. As well as additional exhibits and items of furniture the lighting was upgraded throughout this Georgian house in Mayfair where Handel lived and composed for 36 years.
Muted colours, original wood panelling and shutters, daylight softly seeping in, this was a pleasure to photograph; it felt like stepping into one of Vilhelm Hammershoi’s quiet interiors.
